In boarding actions the damage is taken directly, without a save as dreadfeet. Love the models Pretty similar to me, I assembled all the models and undercoated them, I just never got around to playing the game. As it stands it’s a fun self-contained little skrimish boardgame, rather than a wargame.

Maybe this Ironclads game: I think the main problem with Dreadfleet is where the hell did this game stem from? Looking for more of a certain thing? That would have retained the overarching rules design philosophy, while speeding the game up.
Did that make it all feel worth the effort? A ship has a new stat called Damage. Star trek has rudimentary boarding party rules which are also a good fit. You can turn as much as you want a long as you have enough movement. Anonymous August 14, at 4: Some ships are immune to certain damage cards.
